Rate Increase 2025

Effective July 1, 2025, water and sewer rates will be increasing due to rising costs of operations. The commission has approved a 2.9% CPI (Consumer Price Index) increase. This is per the city ordinance that was put into place December 2021 that allows Stanford Waterworks to raise rates each year as needed in line with the yearly consumer price index.

SHUT OFF - REMINDER

REMINDER STARTING THIS MONTH If water has been turned off for non-payment, your water will now be restored the following day after we have received your payment. We will NO longer do same-day turn-ons. To avoid having to wait 24+ hours to get water restored, it is recommended that you make sure your bill is paid PRIOR to the shut-off day listed on the red notice. This policy change was approved by our commission board in March 2025 and will take effect on May 1, 2025! Thanks, Management
