    FREEZING TEMPERATURES

    Tue, Jan 21, 2025

With temperatures reaching lows below zero tonight, it is recommended to let your faucets run (not just drip) and open cabinet doors to help prevent your water pipes from freezing. There is nothing we can do for frozen pipes. You will have to wait until temperatures rise for them to thaw out. DO NOT get into the meter jars for ANY reason. This can and will likely cause additional problems and freezing. If you do lose water, it is most likely due to frozen pipes. As there is nothing that we can do for frozen pipes/meters in such low temperatures, our distribution crew will not be going out on calls tonight. Most frozen pipes and meters will need to wait until the temperatures increase to thaw out. Our office will reopen at 8 A.M. Thanks, Management
