Rate Increase

Rate increase.

Effective October 1, 2023, water and sewer rates will be increasing due to rising costs of operations. The commission has approved a 4.9% CPI (Consumer Price Index) increase. This is per the city ordinance that was put into place December 2021 that allows Stanford Waterworks to raise rates each year as needed in line with the yearly consumer price index.
